The wedding which was said to had taken place in Lagos Nigeria, went viral as bride showed up with Ankara material instead of the usual white wedding gown.
Most comments and replies on Twitter and Facebook states that it is not a big deal, meanwhile many make claims that Africans should normalize wearing the African attires instead of the colonial masters’ wears.
The couples name is unknown but the idea of the wedding being with a native touch, got people talking. This should be a norm, no?
